I bought this book several years ago. It's based on Thomas Stanley's Millionaire Mind lines, but is a more modern updated version involving melanistic people. It's interesting how people use their time when their priorities are so different from those of the average black American. This book eclipses successful people of color in how they use their time and how they plan their lives.

I liked this book so much that I was able to meet Dennis Kimbro here in Atlanta and get it signed for my mom and I. I have offered this book to countless people who I know have certainly not read it.

I really believe this book is so touching that it stops people of color from moving forward. The countless hours we waste on social media - Facebook, IG, Twitter, watching TV, watching sports ... These things make up a lot of our free time, imagine if we were to use it productively.

This book is one of the reasons why I no longer look at sports the way I used to. It's hard to imagine spending every Sunday awake from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm watching NFL football. It's precious time that I could use to learn another language, learn to trade during the day, pick a hobby that I could use as a job p / t ... The options are endless ..

So, I want to give this book five stars because of the depth of research that Dr. Kimbro has put into it. But it is not the easiest reading. His writing goes ... a lot. Topic titles promise information that never gets delivered. Chapters take over an hour to complete. The same points are reported in several chapters, which makes the information redundant.

In an attempt to "create suspense" for a particular piece of information, it withdraws it article by article by article. By the time you get to the information, you are exhausted as a reader (and a little frustrated). I think the style works for a motivational speech. But for a book, it just becomes too much.

BUT ... you can't beat the depth of information it provides. I was introduced to people I didn't know, met better people I knew, and reminded myself of my inner desire to be a millionaire. In the end, I am grateful that I persevered until the end. I would do it anyway because I am personally committed to generating wealth and eliminating poverty from my life. But if I was reading with a less focused and determined agenda, I would have put this book aside after just one chapter.

It's kind of an extension of "Think and Get Rich on the Dark Choice" which is phenomenal! This book is summary, inspiring and gives a lot of motivation to take you to the next level in life. I recommend reading "Think and Get Rich with the Black Choice" and soon after reading this book.

Dr. Dennis Kimbro has written a masterpiece that highlights the key themes, principles and choices that many black millionaires have embraced and made to get rich. In many ways, Dr. Kimbro's book affirms many of the invaluable lessons I learned from my personal studies and the financial struggles I experienced in life.

While I am encouraged by those who will read this masterpiece and TAKE ACTION on what is most relevant to them ... I am also aware that there will be many more who will read this masterpiece. work and will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to advance their state of mind or their financial situation. They will continue to complain and use their way of staying and staying poor. Sad!!!
