The Budget Traveler's Guide to the Galaxy | Healthy Helper (2024)

All the money saving, travel hack tips you need to plan the adventure of a lifetime….on a budget!

I am 25 years old today.

A quarter century.

That feels so crazy to me…in a good way.

Partly because there was a time in my life where I never thought I would make it this far and partly because I’m thinking “WOAH…I’ve already done so much…what could the next 25 years have instore?”

Just thinking about all that is to come fills me with so much anticipation and excitement.

I considered doing one of those cliche “25 Things I’ve Learned in 25 Years” posts, but in thinking about this birthday a few months back, I really zeroed in on the one thing that has made the biggest impact on my life in the past 25 years.

And that is travel.

From traveling frequently as a little kid with my parents to all my recent solo adventures, travel has shaped me as a person.

It has inspired me. Saved me. Helped me grow and self reflect. Allowed me to meet some of my best friends. And has afforded me the opportunity to break out of the monotony and ‘safeness’ of everyday life. There’s a whole lot of world out there to see and it’s a wonderful thing to realize how small each one of us is in the grand scheme of things. Your personal problems seem very small and surmountable the more you explore the world.

So in reflecting on my travels and how much travel has done for me, I realized that my biggest goal in life is to help others be able to travel as well.

And that’s why…I wrote a BOOK!

The Budget Traveler's Guide to the Galaxy | Healthy Helper (1)

2.5 months of writing. (and more work than I could have imagined)

25 pages in total.

And 25 years in the making (technically 😉 )…it’s finally here.

A Budget Traveler’s Guide to the Galaxy: Stay, Eat, and Explore for Less

(Anybody catch the reference in the title?)

It is ON SALE NOW!! And since it’s my birthday, it’s only $5.

But, before you buy the book, ask yourself these 3 questions:

Have you been wanting to travel more but don’t know where to start?

Has the financial burden of planning a trip stopped you from pulling the plug on the adventure of your dreams?

Want to travel smarter?
