The Best Family Hotels In London To Suit All Budgets In 2023 (2024)

Looking for family hotels in London? The huge choice of hotels available makes finding the perfect hotel seem like a daunting task but this is where we can help.

We know how overwhelming it can feel to find suitable family hotel rooms in London, especially if you aren’t familiar with the city.

We lived in London most of our lives and have a great knowledge of the hotels having helped many friends and family over the years find the best family-friendly hotels in London to suit their budgets.

We have narrowed down the choice and listed the best London family hotels in each budget category.

BUT…before you book one of these family hotels in London, our advice would be to decide on the activities you want to do first. Staying on one side of London and travelling across the city to visit your chosen tourist attractions in London will waste time.

(By the way – the Warner Bros Studios aren’t actually in London if that is one of the activities on your list. If you would like to stay closer for your Harry Potter Studio Tour, we have a list here of the family-friendly hotels near Harry Potter World).

Ideally, you want to be within walking distance of most of the things you want to do. London is a great city to explore on foot as you miss so much when you take the underground.

On the subject of things to do in London, you might want to check out a couple of our London guides:

There are lots of amazing free things to do in London (most of the London museums are free and family-friendly). If you want to delve deeper into London, here are some real hidden gems.
