We have experienced booking properties on Airbnb in Philadelphia for years. Before 2017, when we moved to Denmark, we helped friends and family find places to stay when they would visit us. WHY WE LOVE IT

This house is ideal for a group of friends – it has five beds and is located in one of the cutest neighborhoods, Hawthorne. This puts you in the middle of everything – restaurants, public transit, bars. It’s also got a fabulous roof deck for predrinks and you’ll have the perfect group trip in this property.

This home is in Hawthorne again, so the neighborhood has everything – you’ll love it. The property itself – you will love it too! It’s on three floors with a large common area for living space to spread out. The outdoor space is incredible with two large, shared decks that overlook the cool murals of Philadelphia Magic Gardens. The private balcony off the top-floor suite has incredible views of the center city skyline.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Just looking at the pictures and you can tell this home is gorgeous – it’s even an Airbnb Plus. There are many little touches that make this property luxurious while still being a large property that sleeps 14 people (that’s really hard to find in center city Philadelphia). It’s in a good area of the city that’s close to everything! Parking can be tricky, but you won’t need to drive anywhere.

Rittenhouse is Philadelphia’s premier neighborhood and this apartment is right in the mix of it! Some of the best restaurants in the city are at your doorstep and there are plenty of things to do in the area. The interior is well decorated and it’s perfect for a couple, a single-family or even two couples on a getaway.

Again, the Rittenhouse neighborhood is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods on the east coast and you get to live there from this gorgeous Philadelphia Airbnb. The property oozes with luxury and comfortably fits 10 guests throughout 5 rooms. There are so many elegant touches that you’ll feel like royalty.

You’ll love staying in Grad hospital which is walkable or a $5 uber ride to everything in the city. The gorgeous views from the roof deck are just as incredible as the soaking tub in the bathroom. The upgrades in this home make it truly one-of-a-kind and it still fits a large group comfortably.

Located on South Street, this property is in the mix of everything you want in center city. It’s also got room to fit a large group with futons and an air mattress for overflow guests. Best of all, this Philadelphia Airbnb has two parking spots (that’s almost unheard of). Even if you never move your car it’s nice to have free parking, especially when you can walk from this home to everywhere in Midtown, Hawthorne, Bella Vista, and Old City.

This home looks like it was ripped from a magazine – true luxury and design upgrades all over. The spacious common area has tons of space and natural light with three large bedrooms. The roof deck with a hot tub is something truly special in the city that you can’t find anywhere else (trust me, we looked). There’s also an in-house movie theatre – SERIOUSLY! Once again, staying in Rittenhouse is a huge draw. It’s the most prestigious and safe area of Philly. It’s also rare to find a townhouse rental in the area, so scoop this one up if you find it available for your trip. It’s got plenty of space for a small group or family with three bedrooms in one of the most desired neighborhoods with a modern home – book it now!

WHY WE LOVE IT

If you want an inexpensive group house in the middle of center city – this is it! The neighborhood is amazing, Mike used to live there, and it’s the best place to stay if you want to enjoy nightlife and tour during the day. You won’t have to walk anywhere, but keep in mind that parking is tough in this area.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Finding a large home in Old City that can comfortably fit a big family or group is tough – so take our word and book this one. Bonus: it’s the second property on our list that has a roof deck with a hot tub in the middle of the city. That all and being near the history and nightlife of Old City makes this a perfect home to book.

We love history and historic homes, so this home is incredible. A trinity home is unique to Philadelphia and they date back centuries – basically, it’s a 3-4 level home with one super long single room on each level and a narrow staircase in the center winding up each floor. The furniture is hoisted to each upper level through a hatch on every floor. They’re rather unique to Philly, so finding one you can rent on Airbnb is super rare. This one is modern with all the charm of a historic home and in the very middle of Center City Philadelphia. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw this property so you just have to see it for yourself.

This place is perfectly located for a weekend getaway for a small group. of friends or even a couple. It has a queen, a double, and a sofa bed – so it has room for a group to sleep but it priced for a single traveler. Compared to the cost of a hotel room in this neighborhood – this rental is a STEAL! You’re right in the thick of the best street in Philly for restaurants and near all the Center City nightlife.

This is one of the most popular areas for tourists to stay, but they pay a lot more than this rate for a hotel room. The value here is unreal and so are the skyline views. Everything is modern and recently renovated and it’s perfect for a single-family, four friends or two couples.

This apartment is cute and cozy – perfect for a couple’s getaway or a solo trip to Philly. The neighborhood can’t be beaten. Mike used to live a few blocks away and we love returning to the area when we’re in town. There’s also a great balcony off the kitchen, perfect for morning coffee or a nightcap.

Just look how incredible this property is! It’s a former church that’s been converted into an 8 bedroom castle with event space. You could hold an event with 150 people and host at least 16 people with you. For a family reunion, birthday party gathering, or even a wedding – this place is phenomenal.

The decor is great, there’s plenty of space and the neighborhood is wonderful. We also love the cool outdoor space and the trendy, fun vibe of this duplex.
