Great museum, and a must see while visiting New Orleans. There is so much to see here so it was very overwhelming and there is no way you would be able to see everything in one day. The restaurant was great also, the only negative thing was that it was very hard to navigate. It wasn't clear which direction you should go next and I missed some sections of the museum because of this.

It was a lot of funto return to New Orleans! Last there in 2019!Interesting city and very unusual characters! However, ladies are advised not go out alone in the evenings!!

Another must-visit in this city. The church is absolutely stunning, and it’s worth going inside and paying a visit. The exterior is especially stunning, in my opinion. Truly a unique site.

This must stop in New Orleans never disappoints! The vibe and music will leave you in a great mood! The art market near the Spotted Cat is fun as well. We walked from the French Quarter along Royal to Frenchman and made a brief stop at the R Bar (I’m a bit NCIS New Orleans fan and this is “Dwayne’s bar”). We grabbed a quick sandwich at the Market Verti (recommendation from a local - grab and go -yum!) and see Tuba Skinny at the Frenchman Hotel - a quiet and relaxed venue -so much fun. Brendan, the bar tender, was the Best!

Built on the back of slavery the Garden District is fading or restored opulence, recaptured in a 21st century setting. The houses are huge and beautiful, grand dames of their era, a belle epoque. But the wealth they came from is not beautiful. You go: you decide.

This is a beautiful church! Reminds me a lot of the grandeur of St Patricks Cathedral in New York. The guide on site was super knowledgeable as well. The images and statues and the stained glass windows - stunning! Did you know tip - the windows all display the life of Saint Louis. I really love the image of St Peter on the ceiling. As if he was looking down and checking on me. Lovely. I would LOVE to see a wedding here. it must be magnificent to walk down that aisle!

We were on way to FL and decided to travel to New Orleans first and spend a day doing Plantation Tours. We wanted a Creole Plantation and I’m glad to picked Laura. Awesome afternoon with our guide, who was very knowledgeable about every generation as well as the slaves who lived there. Highly recommend!!

We’d been to Preservation Hall many years ago and wanted to go again. We weren’t disappointed. It is pricey but we went for the total experience. The old shabby building, the benches and the musicians all true to form. Very enjoyable.

City Park is A-mazing! As a local, I visit at least twice per month. The Sculpture Garden is a must-see and the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) is there. Cafe du Mond also has a location here. Spacious and beautiful all year round.

Fascinating tour into local burial practices, only criticism is we seemed a bit rushed into moving on (probably due to the fast turn over of tours) and the guide would often start commentary before everyone had chance to reach him.

Such a good experience . The tour was excellent you got to see the whole process from cutting of the styrofoam foam through to the painting of these amazing creations.
You were also allowed to dress up in a Mardi Gras costume for photo sessions.
Definitely worth the money for an afternoon or morning of fun and laughter!

This is the third visit. When ever guest visit from the North, I make sure I take them to the Houmas House. They learn so much about Plantation life. I would have given this visit a 5 star, but since this is a red state, on this visit the guides are not allowed to talk about slaves and thus I had to fill in after we left the Plantation. On the other hand the guides are terrific and please try the Dixie restaurant. The food is fantastic and reasonable. Walk the gardens and take the walk to the river.
