In this post, I will reveal the 10 niches that have been proven to make you money, complete with examples!
How I Picked my Profitable Niche – Blogging & Online Business
It is important to note that you shouldnotbe blogging about this niche if you don’t have any background or expertise in it. There is no need to. Personally, both my academic and corporate background is in marketing – I am extremely passionate about this topic.I was also blogging for 10 years before I started this blog, as a hobby.
In fact, this blog originally was only about getting traffic and subscribers – something I already had prior experience with.So you could say that it was a combination of expertise, passion, and profitability.
That’s for me – what about you?
Over the years I have observed that there are several niches that are wildly profitable that pop up again and again – and I’ve decided to share them with you guys.
The Top 10 Most Profitable Niches Are…
Disclaimer: I’m not saying these will make you MORE money than other niches – you can make money in 99% of niches if you know how to get traffic and monetize appropriately, but these niches have been proven time and again to be able to create 6-figure businesses and beyond.
1. Finance
There are a ton of finance-related affiliate programs that are high-ticket, i.e. you get several hundred dollars or even thousands of dollars for each lead you recommend that converts.
For example, you can join affiliate programs that teach people how to stock trade, how to succeed in the forex market, etc.
If you have a finance background, this is a great niche to be in. You don’t even need to create your own course if you don’t want to.
2.Make Money Online
This niche is self-explanatory: People are tired of their 9-5 jobs and want out.
However, the make money online niche is very competitive – because when most people come online looking to make money online, they start thinking that the only way to make money online is to teach about making money online.
This is a very toxic mindset because it leads to people selling things online that they are not qualified to teach about.
Overall, a niche where it can be hard to establish your credibility (full of smart digital marketers).
3. Business Solutions
Plenty of businesses – both offline and online businesses, are going online to look for business solutions.
This could be anything from accounting software, tools, website creation, social media management, virtual assistance services, consulting services, or any type of value proposition you have that can help businesses grow.
Also, businesses typically have a much higher budget, so selling high-ticket products and services is much easier when you are catering to them.

4. Health & Fitness
Let’s face it: Everyone wants to be healthy and fit.
Health and fitness is a very broad niche – you could specifically be talking about yoga, weight loss, dieting, bulking, and much more. All of these can do very well.
I have noticed that weight loss businesses do especially well in this niche. When there is a huge pain, there is higher demand.
Successful bloggers and entrepreneurs in this niche could sell supplements, weight loss programs, become a personal trainer – the sky is the limit.
5. Personal Development
In a world where millennials are constantly questioning their identity and life purpose, especially in first-world countries that have reached a certain standard of living, people are looking for something deeper than being able to eat their next meal.
They are looking for a fulfilling life.
As a result, personal development is a huge and booming niche! Also, it could be very fulfilling helping others to completely transform their lives.
6. Travel
A personal favorite of mine, because I really love traveling. If you have experience traveling, you would love being in this niche. For one, product reviews would make you a very happy blogger.
It is not difficult to find a successful travel blog, so go check one out!
7. Dating & Romance
Dating and romance is a HUGE and PROFITABLE niche.
From pick-art artists, to dating coaches (for men / women/ Christians/ specific races/ the list goes on), to teaching people how they can have a happy marriage, to how you can deal with divorce, there are countless possible blog & business ideas you can create a wildly successful business off that is related to romance.
At the end of the day, finding and keeping love is a huge goal in everyone’s lives, and people are willing to pay a ton if you can convince them that you have the solution they need to have love.
8. Hobbies
Hobbies are great because they typically have a pool of very ardent customers that are hyper-interested in the niche.
For instance, skills like playing the piano or guitar, gardening, archery, sports – these are all niches with many huge fans that are willing to spend.
Also, if you choose a good niche, this could be a lot less competitive than some of the other niches in this list.
9. Beauty
If you’re female, you will most likely will understand why this is a profitable niche.
Many people will PAY a TON to look good.
Ladies alone spend a ton on hair, makeup, and clothes every single day.
Some examples of blogs you can start are makeup websites, hair tutorials, skincare products, fashion blogs, and much more.
10. Lifestyle
If you have the tenacity to write a ton about a wide variety of topics, you could opt to have a lifestyle blog.
Such blogs need a lot more traffic to monetize, but there are many “magazine” type blogs that earn a ton of ad revenue and brand sponsorships.
Personally, I would recommend you to start with a more specific niche than this.
