Following a fairly successful third season of the show, which saw Michael Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams) finally make his peace with leaving Pearson Specter for an investment banker job, the fourth season had a lot of questions to answer. The biggest one being - how will Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht) deal with his problems without his forever present wingman, Mike? "One-Two-Three Go…" (8.7)
The first episode of season 4 describes the new normal for the different characters of the show, starting with Harvey who seems to be coming late for work every single day.
He has a new associate, Rachel, who's working part-time and studying law at Columbia University. Mike is in his new office at Sidwell Investment Group, with an assistant named Amy. All the occurrences in this episode of the series take place three months after Mike left the firm.
"We're Done" (8.9)
In the seventh episode of season 4, Mike's personal life takes a turn for the worse as he gets to know about Rachel and Logan's intimate moment. It's a surreal scene when Mike confronts Logan about it.
Elsewhere, Louis wants to become Name Partner but Jessica doesn't permit it, even though she is happy with the work he has done. Towards the end, Mike wants Rachel to go away for a while if they are to get back together.
"Fork In The Road" (8.9)
In the thirteenth episode of season 4, it's another trip down memory lane, looking at the past of Louis and Harvey while they are aiming to make it up the ladder at Pearson Hardman.

It's another episode that gives the viewers ample reasons to hate Daniel Hardman while loving Harvey even more. Louis plays his partner for promotion and that explains the present heat between him and Harvey.
"Litt The Hell Up" (9.0)
In the sixth episode of season 4, Louis makes a call that goes wrong, without concerning Harvey first even when he was explicitly told to. Rachel takes a step that could end up ruining her relationship with Mike, as she shares a heated moment with her ex, Logan Sanders.
It's an episode of the series that's filled with emotions and adrenaline running high, with Louis looking to make good on his mistake, while Rachel is trying to hide the truth.
"Exposure" (9.0)
In the eighth episode of season 4, Mike returns to Pearson Specter as a Junior Associate and takes over Harvey's office. As soon as he comes, there's work to do as Sean Cahill is on the back of both of them, thanks to the way Harvey and Mike handled Logan Sanders' case.
Jessica needs to keep her firm from getting exposed, while Rachel confronts Mike about the future of their relationship in a highly intense scene.
"Enough Is Enough" (9.0)
In the eleventh episode of season 4, there are two major things that happen. Rachel asks her father, Robert, a favor. She asks him to hire Katrina Bennett as his associate.
Secondly, Louis leverages Daniel Hardman's embezzlement issue over Jessica to gain himself a promotion in the firm. Pearson Specter is officially renamed Pearson Specter Litt, meaning there will be an extensive presence of Louis in the next board meetings.
"Not Just A Pretty Face" (9.0)
In the season 4 finale, another flashback takes the viewers back to a young and hopeful Harvey, who meets Donna, a girl, looking to make a name for herself. Back in the present day, Donna has quit working for Harvey as his secretary, after the latter declared his love for her in the previous episode.

She goes to work for Louis, instead, as his interim secretary. Meanwhile, Mike proposes Rachel and she accepts.
"Gone" (9.3)
The ninth episode of season 4 is emotional and frantic. It's all about Louis, who suffers from the consequences of another one of his bad decisions.
The deposition of Mike and Harvey is going to take place, with Sean Cahill obsessed with putting both of them away, thinking they shouldn't go free after committing a dire crime. The end of the episode sees Harvey and Jessica decide on firing Louis, but they are greeted with a resignation letter instead.
"Intent" (9.3)
In the penultimate episode of season 4, dark clouds roam over Donna and the viewers know how much Harvey hates that. Terrence Wolf files charges against her for the unlawful gaining of classified information, which could jeopardize her career.
Harvey has to come up with a solution and fast, because, without Donna, Harvey is half the lawyer and half the man. Throughout the episode, there are many teases that Donna and Harvey will end up together.
"This Is Rome" (9.6)
In the tenth episode of season 4, it's the aftermath of Louis' resignation from Pearson Specter, as Harvey and Mike scramble to keep their top clients, who are being poached by Louis, in order for him to be hired by Rand, Kaldor, and Zane.
Harvey knows this couldn't have been possible without Louis getting some inside information and thus, Katrina Bennett is fired for working against the interests of the firm she works for.
