I can't get enough of these Christmas crochet projects lately! I want to make all of these, all three, as shown. I like the look, that it resembles an actual sock. I think this is a great housewarming gift for the young couple starting out. You don't think of gifting holiday decor, and it's something the young couple probably doesn't have much of!

Hi, I have made four so far, you work on one side for the toe - you start out with I believe 15 stitches, next row 13, then 11, etc. De.creasing down to four stitches. then join yarn to make the other side of the toe doing the exact same

Hi. I am completely baffled by where it starts at the foot and the main color is joined at the heal, then it says to decrease at the leg. So do I join the MC yarn that I attached to the heal to the leg, and if so, where do I join it at , or where to I decrease at? I hope I am making sense. I would really like to make this in time for Chrismas . Thank you.

this is my first project in a long tim, I have completed the leg and heal. the instructions for the foot have lost... FootWith right side facing, skip first 7 (10, 11) sc of heel ((what im assuming this means is I start in the bottom of the heal?? using the main color or CC s7nce its says join MC next?)), join MC and sc in last 7 (10, 11) sc, [dec over next 2 sc of leg] twice, sc in next 8 (14, 16) sc of leg, [dec over next 2 sc of leg] twice, sc in remaining 7 (10, 11) sc of heel; turn 26 (38, 42) sc. Work even in sc and stripe pattern until foot measures 3 (5, 6) from last ...if someone can help me understand these steps id be greatful.

I am stuck on the heel as well.Decreasing to 4 sts seems okay for the small version, but what about the other two larger ones? I am making the largest and decreasing to 4 sts makes the heels GIANT! I was trying to think about what a logic number of sts would be to decrease to, but I am just learning to crochet, and since the patter doesn't really seem to have a logical ratio from size to size, I think that I am stuck. HELP, please someone!

Anyone know - Is the yard amounts for all three stockings or just one stocking? I have approx 150 yds of red yarn but am scared I'll run out making the medium size (super saver is approx 360 yds)

I didn't write this pattern but I can help with the Heel being a little hard to understand. It should read like this:Heel1. With right side facing, skip 23 (32, 35) sc; join CC and sc in last 7 (10, 11) sc; bring other side of leg around and sc in first 7 (10, 11) sc; turn 14 (20, 22) sc. 2. Next Row: Ch 1, dec, sc in each sc to last 2 sc; dec; turn 12 (18, 20) sc. 3. Next Rows: Ch 1, sc in each sc to last 2 sc; dec at end of each row until 4 sts remain. Now increase 1 st at each end of every row until there are 14 (20, 22) sc. Fasten off.
