The Big Breakfast – made up of a hash brown, scrambled egg, sausage patty and toasted muffin – was first taken off the menu at someUK branches of the fast food chain in June last year.But after a review of the restaurant’s breakfast menu, the meal is said to have beenstopped being soldfor good, sparking disappointment among customers.
A McDonald's spokesman told the Standard: “We removed the Big Breakfast from our menu on February 3. Whilst we are sad to see the Big Breakfast go, we are continually developing our menu and this is particularly true of our offering at breakfast".
One devastated McDonald’s lover even set up a petition on the UK Government’s website, urging the fast food chain to bring back the Big Breakfast. The petition, which was submitted on February 8, was rejected for being “about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for”. This I agree with, but it is something McDonald's are responsible for and he should have made it here (like I have).
So let's petition McDonalds to bring back it's Big Breakfast meal.
I have even complained to McDonald's asking "Why?" and their reply did not say.
