How much is the service fee for fund transfer transactions?

The following service fees apply for fund transfer via InstaPay:

Via Chinabank Mobile – P10.00 per transaction

Via Chinabank Online – P15.00 per transaction

Fund transfer via PesoNet has a service fee of P20.00 per transaction.

How much can I transfer?

Own China Bank Account

Transaction Limit: P1,000,000.00

Daily Limit: None

Other China Bank Account

Transaction Limit: P150,000

Daily Limit: P150,000

Other Banks via InstaPay

Transaction Limit: P50,000

Daily Limit: P250,000

Other Banks via PESONet

Transaction Limit: P100,000

Daily Limit: P250,000

Is there a cut-off time for transferring funds?

There is no cut-off time for transferring funds via InstaPay. PESONet, on the other hand, has a cut-off time of 4:00PM. All PESONet transfers made after the cut-off time will be credited on the next banking day.

Can I schedule a fund transfer transaction?

Yes, you may schedule a fund transfer transaction to a future date. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Pay or transfer” from the post-login menu
  2. Select a “To Other”, then select your payee
  3. Fill out the necessary details
  4. Tap on the calendar icon to change the date of your transaction then tap “Confirm”
  5. Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number

A confirmation message will be displayed. The funds will be transferred to the payee on the date you have set.

Note: If you want this transaction to be repeated, check the “Recurring” box, and select the frequency. On the “Repeat” field, enter the number of times you want the transaction to be repeated.

Can I transfer funds from a peso-denominated account to a foreign currency account?

No, this function is currently not available. However, you may transfer funds from your foreign currency account to your peso-denominated account by going to “Pay or Transfer”, select “To Me”, then select “Forex Sale”. Please note that exchange rates will be applied.

How do I edit my payee's nickname?
  1. Select "Pay or Transfer" from the post-login menu
  2. Select "To Other" and swipe to the left to view action to be done to selected payee
  3. Tap Edit to edit your Payee's nickname and click Next

A confirmation of the successful edit will be displayed.

How do I remove a payee?
  1. Select "Pay or Transfer" from the post-login menu
  2. Select "To Other" and swipe to the left to view action to be done to selected Payee
  3. Select Remove and tap OK

A confirmation of the successful removal will be displayed.

For Joint accounts, can both accountholders link their email addresses/mobile numbers to the account?

Yes, each joint accountholder can choose to link his/her own email address/mobile number to the same joint account, if both accountholders are existing users of the app.

Can I change the email address/mobile number linked to my account?

Yes, to change the email address/mobile number, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Account Services” from the post-login menu and tap “Real Time Payment”
  2. Select “Modify” and enter the new email address/mobile number you want to be linked to your account.
  3. Tap “Confirm” and enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.

A confirmation message will be displayed.

If you want to change the account number linked to your email address or mobile number, tap on “Delete” and register again.
