Ever Accountable is dedicated to improving our accountability options, to give our customers as much help as possible! Since it is difficult to notice all p*rnographic content from the internet and apps, we came up with a solution we think will make a real difference: Periodic Screenshots.
What are Screenshots?
We take random, periodic screenshots throughout the day at unknown times of the User's device screen. They are NOT required. Screenshots can be enabled if users want extra protection from their desire to look at p*rnography.We genuinely believe that screenshots are the biggest difference-maker in quitting p*rnography.
Why should I enable them?
Screenshots provide coverage where our text sharing doesn't. Instagram, Facebook, Google Images, and all those pesky browsers can't hide from screenshots. We also use an image recognizer to label each screenshot as "clean," "suspicious," or "p*rnographic" to save your accountability partner from having to sort through 1000's of images.If you want to take quitting p*rn seriously, screenshots are a must.
Will Screenshots show faces and bodies?
Yes and no. When you enable screenshots, you will have the option to choose between "High" and "Low" resolution. The high-resolution screenshots will show much more detail and will show faces and bodies.Low-resolution, on the other hand, will have a less detailed image in the reports, but it may still be possible to make out some faces and bodies.
How do I enable Screenshots?
Screenshots are available for Android devices on Android 5 Lollipop and later, and we are working on adding them to all of our other devices. Enabling screenshots are an option during the normal installation process OR when you open up your app.To enable screenshots after Ever Accountable has been installed:1. Grab the latest update of Ever Accountable 2. Open the app and tap "Enable Screenshots" near the middle of the screen 3. To disable screenshots: Open the app and tap "Disable Screenshots" near the middle of the screen. 4. You can also change the screenshot resolution in the "Account Settings" page of your dashboard.
Will Screenshots use more data?
They use a little more, but you probably will not notice it because we heavily compress them before sending them to our server. You can expect around 40 megabytes per month for Screenshots, though it could be more or less depending on how you use your device. Screenshots are uploaded as they are taken, using whatever internet connection your device has at the time. So if you frequently connect to wifi, uploading screenshots will not use any of your phone's data.

What is illegal to screenshot? ›

What if I don't Enable Accessibility? Ever Accountable will still monitor some of your activity even without accessibility being enabled. For instance, it still monitors the apps you use, and it can sometimes tell the websites you visit. However, it cannot monitor many popular apps and web browsers.
Why is Ever Accountable not reporting? ›
The three reasons a device stops reporting are: Our system detects a duplicate. That means that it thinks two different devices are actually one device, like if you have one cell phone but registered it twice. The device has not contacted the server for more than 21 days (or 8 days if using iOS).
Storage may be in use," or, "Can't take screenshot due to limited storage space," reboot the device. Use the Android storage manager to free up space. If that doesn't help, try one of the best cleaners for Android phones to clear junk files, or move your files to either cloud storage or an SD card.
