Fully redeveloped in 2021, Cortile della Seta is a 25,900m2 mixed use bulding. Although mainly comprised of office space, it also contains over 2.000m2 of retail space and roughly 1.400m2 of terraces spread over six floors including an underground car park. Positioned in the heart of Brera, the most sought-after neighbourhood in Milan’s central business district with excellent public transport accessibility by bus, tram and metro.
The building is NZEB, LEED Gold and WELL Platinum certified and its state-of-the art design achieves high levels of performance in terms of sustainability, energy-efficiency and comfort.
Bourn Quarter,
Cambridge, UK
A ground up, speculative development, of flexible industrial units in a campus setting to suit a variety of uses to include R&D, Life Sciences, Hi-tech, as well as standard industrial and logistics users. Phase 1 (c. 160,000 sq ft in 15 units) completed in 2022 with Phase 2 (c. 160,000 sq ft in 9 units) securing planning consent in 2023 with works due to commence in 2024. Phase 1 is 90% let 12 months post PC.
Bourn Quarter delivers a highly sustainable end-product, designed to achieve Net Zero Carbon (WLCA). Phase 1 achieved BREEAM Excellent, EPC A Rating and incorporates principles of the Well Building standard. Phase 2 will follow suit.
Prime office location,
Stuttgart, Germany
Extensively refurbish of an existing office building in a prime location in Stuttgart which was completed in Q2 2023. The project embraced an array of ESG measures, includingenergy audit to improve consumption and detect leaks, the installation of LED lighting for common areas and underground car park, installation of occupancy detectors in offices and motion detectors in corridors and sanitary facilities, the installation of water-saving fittings and use of sustainable building materials.
The asset received LEED Gold certification in 2022. On the operational side, a green facility management contract was entered into and lease agreements and property management contracts contain green clauses.
Cathedral Hill Industrial Estate,
Surrey, UK
Acquired in November 2019, the site comprises 13 light industrial units arranged in 2 terraces across 94,000sq ft. Working with tenants in situ, a sustainable refurbishment specification has been progressed to minimise in construction and ongoing operational carbon emissions including PV and Battery installations. The project delivers a BREEAM Excellent/ EPC A/+A/NZC (WLCA) outcome, with occupiers benefitting from a far greater degree of energy security and the operational cost savings that renewable power brings - a key to the future proofing strategy for the Estate. The Estate has achieved full occupancy on completion of the works.
Residential retrofit,
Madrid, Spain
Acquired in 2016, the project comprised the complete renovation and redevelopment of an existing 8,200m2 asset in the center of Madrid. Following redevelopment, the asset now consists of 33 new residential units and a 2,500m2 high street retail unit.
Sustainability considerations were key and therefore integrated from the outset of the project resulting in the award of an “A“ EPC rating. The building also benefits from having geothermal installation that provides more that 90% of the heating/cooling needed for the apartments and electric bikes were provided which each unit.

Amy Shah
Global Head of Human Resources
Amy joined Savills IM as Global Head of Human Resources (HR) in October 2020. Based in London, she has overall responsibility for all HR activities, particularly the implementation of our global HR strategy. Amy is experienced in managing an international team as well as designing and delivering multijurisdictional HR strategies, having joined Savills IM following 12 years at Standard Life Aberdeen plc.
Andrew Allen
Head of Product Strategy and Development
Andrew joined in a new role as Head of Product Strategy and Development in January 2021 to lead Savills IM’s new product activity globally and directly oversee product delivery in Europe. He is a member of the Global Executive Committee and chairs the New Business Committee. With nearly 30 years’ experience, from 2004 to 2010 Andrew was Head of Research & Strategy for Cordea Savills, now Savills IM.
Alex Jeffrey
Chief Executive
As Chief Executive, Alex is responsible for setting and implementing the firm-wide strategy and leading the next stage of Savills IM’s global growth. He is also a member of the Savills Group Executive Board.Alex has over 30 years of investment experience and was previously head of Asia-Pacific for M&G Investments, as well as CEO of M&G Real Estate between 2012 and 2018.
Nick Cooper
Chairman
Nick, as Chairman, has oversight of the business. He has over 40 years of real estate investment management experience and was the founder and CEO of one of the first real estate multi-manager businesses at the time, ING Real Estate Select. He also served as a member of the Global Board at ING and was subsequently a Director and Board Member at Townsend Group (now Aon).
Dale Lattanzio
Managing Partner of DRC Savills Investment Management
Dale is the Managing Partner of DRC Savills Investment Management, a dedicated investment advisor and has held senior positions for over twenty five years. He has an MBA from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College. Dale is the outgoing Chairman of the European Commercial Real Estate Finance Council and serves as a Board Member for the Catalyst Club-Cancer Research UK.
Kiran Patel
Global CIO and Deputy Global CEO
Kiran, as Global CIO and Deputy Global CEO, is instrumental to the success of our investment and asset management platform, as well as the creation and implementation of investment and risk strategies. He has over 30 years' experience across Europe, Asia and the US. He joined us in 2012 and also chairs the Portfolio Advisory Committee and is a member of the Transaction Advisory Committee.
James Howard
Global CFO
James is responsible for fund and group finance, tax and treasury operations, in addition to overseeing our Luxembourg platform. He has in excess of 20 years experience within the real estate industry across financial reporting, real estate tax, transaction due diligence, fund structuring and debt origination, having worked on deals in all of the major markets across Europe and Asia. Before joining us in 2011, James has previously held positions with KPMG and EY.
Giuseppe Oriani
Deputy Chairman
Giuseppe is responsible for the strategy and execution of our European platform, including new business and overseeing the management of existing funds. He has over 30 years of experience and joined us initially as Head of Italy in 2012 from Hideal Partners, where he was founding partner and responsible for M&A. He has also worked at Babco*ck & Brown, ABN AMRO Bank and SBC Warburg.
Hsueh Ling Ng
Head of Asia Pacific, ex-Japan
Hsueh Ling joined as Head of APAC ex-Japan in February 2024 with overall responsibility for the business management of Savills IM’s investments ex- Japan and the client capital teams in APAC . She has over 30 years’ experience and joined Savills IM from Lendlease, where she held the role of Managing Director & Country Head, Singapore , Chief Investment Officer Asia , and also the additional role of Chair of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT Management. Prior to this, she spent eight years as Chief Executive Officer of Keppel REIT Management Ltd.
Richard Lake
Global Head of Investment Risk
Richard, who has been with us since 2004, has overall responsibility for the implementation and adherence of our investment process throughout the organisation, with particular emphasis on risk management, governance and ESG. He chairs the Transaction Advisory Committee and is a key member of the Portfolio Advisory and ESG Committees.

Chief Technology and Operating Officer
As Chief Technology and Operating Officer, Claire is responsible for Savills IM OperatingPlatform as well as the digital capabilities used to better serve its clients. Claire also chairs the internal Operations and Technology Committee and is a member of external European Industry Technology committees. Claire joined us in 2022 having held similar roles at Aberdeen Standard Investments and the Cromwell Group
Apwinder Foster
Global Head of Strategy and Client Capital
As Global Head of Strategy and Client Capital, Apwinder is responsible for driving Savills IM’s strategic priorities and continuing to seek opportunities in both pooled fund investments and segregated mandates. Initially joining Savills IM as a result of the acquisition of DRC Capital, where she held multiple roles, Apwinder has a broad range of experience. She was Chief Financial Officer at Kennedy Wilson Europe and held senior roles in Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Special Situations Group and Merrill Lynch Real Estate Finance team.
Jon Crossfield
Head of Strategic Partnerships and Living
Jon heads up both the Strategic Partnerships and Living initiatives in Europe. The Strategic Partnerships team offers tailored pan-European IM and advisory services. He is also responsible for growing our European Living platform. Jon has extensive global experience of acquisitions, development funding and sales.Jon has 30 years of property investment experience.
Kevin Aitchison
Managing Director, Head of Europe
Kevin joined as Managing Director, Head of Europe, in December 2023 with overall responsibility for the management of Savills IM’s Equity business across Europe.He has over 30 years’ experience and joins from Knight Frank Investment Management (KFIM), where he had held the position of Chief Executive for over 11 years. Prior to this, he was at ING Real Estate Investment Management UK for 11 years, initially as a Fund Director and then Chief Executive.
Laurence Greenblatt
Global Head of Risk and Compliance
As global head of risk and compliance, Laurence is responsible for ensuring that awareness and consideration of risk is embedded across Savills IM business and support functions. He is a qualified lawyer and career compliance and risk professional with 20+ years’ experience at a variety of financial services firms across a broad range of jurisdictions.
Cristiano Ronchi
Head of Italy
Cristiano has 20 years’ experience and has been with us since 2005, becoming Head of Italy in 2018. Since joining, Cristiano has launched three pan-European funds and developed a series of separate accounts on behalf of international institutional investors, as well as structuring and leading a respected transaction and AM team.
Edgar Hertog
Co-Head of Netherlands
Edgar has 17 years’ experience in investment and asset management in Netherlands and Belgium, worknig for a number of high profile clients including Anheuser-Inbev and Heineken. He has completed c. EUR 1bn of transactions and is experienced in acquiring and managing investments, building and implementing investment strategies on behalf of investors.
Fernando Ramirez de Haro
Head of Spain
Fernando has more than 20 years of IM experience and has overseen EUR 1bn+ of real estate investments. He is responsible for our Iberian platform. Prior to the acquisition of Aguirre Newman by Savills plc, he held a variety of senior posts at the company including Managing Director and Partner of the AM division (subsequently incorporated into Savills IM).
Gerhard Lehner
Head of Fund Management, Germany
Gerhard has 25 years’ experience in European real estate, becoming Head of Fund Management in 2014 and Managing Director for Germany in 2016. Since joining Savills IM in 2008 he has been involved in launching a series of funds and mandates on behalf of German institutions, for which EUR 5bn+ has been invested across Europe since then.
Harry de Ferry Foster
Head of UK, Fund Director
Harry is Head of the UK, responsible for the UK platform's growth, as well as Fund Director for the Charities Property Fund. He oversees all aspects of the management of the Fund, including the portfolio's strategic framework, investments and managing the fund team. Harry has nearly 25 years' experience in property investment and fund management, and joined Savills IM in 2002.

Laurent Vouin
Head of France
Laurent has overall responsibility for France and Belux within Savills IM.With 22 years experience in development and IM across Europe, he has been involved in a wide spectrum of transactions and possessesan in-depth understanding in acquiring and managing investments, as well as building and implementing desired investment strategies. Laurent joined us in 2015 from AXA RE.

Co-Head of Netherlands
Marcel, as Co-Head of our Dutch office, has over 25 years’ experience in investment management in The Netherlands and has been involved in numerous deals, representing, a.o., Allianz Real Estate for over 16 years. Marcel has been involved in a large spectrum of transactions on offices, residential investments and logistics.
Peter Brostrom
Head of Nordics
Peter was appointed Head of Nordics in 2015, having been with us since 2008. He has overall responsibility for transactions and asset management for Nordic funds and assets located in the Nordics that are owned by our pan-European Funds.He has over 15 years experience and has transacted over EUR 2.2 billion in the region.
Piotr Trzcinski
Head of Poland
Piotr joined us in May 2017 with the opening of our Warsaw office. He has in-depth knowledge of the Polish real estate market, with 15 years of experience in investment and asset management. He has successfully delivered returns on commercial assets exceeding EUR 1bn in value, and completed over EUR 500mn in real estate acquisitions.
Rena Knoepke
Head of Business Development, Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Rena joined Savills IM in 2016 and has been Managing Director of Savills Investment Management KVG GmbH since 2019. As Head of Business Development Germany, Austria and Switzerland, she is also responsible for product development, fund raising, investor relations and marketing. In total, she has more than 20 years of experience in institutional business.
Rowena Giordani
Head of Luxembourg
Rowena heads up our Luxembourg office, overseeing the compliance, governance and operations of our Luxembourg vehicles. She has worked in the Luxembourg fund industry since 2007. Prior to joining us in 2018, she spent periods in a bank and third-party service providers, including seven years with a leading outsourced fund administrator offering bespoke services in the alternatives sector where she was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the Luxembourg operations. .

Greg joined Savills Investment Management in 2020 and moved to Sydney in 2021. Greg manages APACIG and leads a four-strong investment team in Sydney, he has over 30 years’ experience across real estate investment, financial reporting, corporate finance, consulting and transaction advisory. Greg joined Savills IM from BlackRock, where he was a managing director and chief investment officer of the AsiaPac real estate business.

Tadaaki Kurozumi
Co-Head of Japan
Tadaaki co-heads our Japanese business, and is focused on origination and overall investment strategy, management and operations. His experience includes pricing, underwriting, originating and acquiring distressed debt and real estatem, and he was co-founder of the acquired Merchant Capital. With 26 years' experience, Tadaaki is a first class registered architect.
Tom Silecchia
Co-Head of Japan
Tom focuses on investor and lender relationships, transaction structuring, as well as the overall Japanese business's investment strategy, management and operations. He co-founded Merchant Capital with Tadaaki Kurozumi, joining us in 2014 following its acquisition by Savills IM. He has 21 years' experience in real estate and finance, and is fluent in Japanese.
