Romans 5:1-11 weaves together themes of faith, love, hope, and glory, threading them through the story of the Christ event, the past work of God on our behalf, our current standing as God's beloved children, and the future God holds in trust for us.

Being justified by faith he has peace with God. The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. The Bible uses peace in two ways. There is personal peace with God which comes when a person accepts Jesus Christ as savior. Then, there is the peace of God which is available on a daily basis as the believer participates in the Christian way of life according to the plan of God.

You can become justified by believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you trust in Him, you will receive His righteousness. Jesus will cover your sin with His righteousness. All your impurity will be made perfect through Christ because He lived a sinless, blameless life.

Objectively, peace with God means that God is in fact reconciled to us because of the saving work of Christ. Subjectively, peace with God means that we come to know that God is reconciled to us and that knowledge brings us serenity in our consciences that would otherwise accuse and condemn us.

God has proved that love to us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God did not wait for us to get stronger or better, He acted first to resolve the dispute between us. He sent Christ to die at exactly the right time to save us. The result is that we are no longer enemies of God because of our sin.
