Robinhood Wallet
Before you begin
Robinhood Wallet is a separate app from the Robinhood app. Download the Robinhood Wallet app for iOS.
The Robinhood Wallet app is a self-custody wallet that’s your portal to web3 where you can store and manage your crypto on the Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, and Base networks. Robinhood Wallet gives you full control over your crypto, which means you hold the private keys to your assets.
Create a new wallet
We strongly recommend backing up your wallet because it's the only way you can recover your wallet and crypto if you lose or reset your device. If you don’t back up your wallet when you create it, you can do it later in Backups & security. For step-by-step instructions, see back up your wallet.
Import your existing wallet
You can import an existing Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, or Base wallet to Robinhood Wallet by using your existing wallet’s secret recovery phrase. See step-by-step instructions in Fund your wallet with Robinhood Crypto.
Note
Currently, you can’t choose additional addresses to import from an Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, or Base secret recovery phrase, but we’re working on supporting this in the future.
Recover your wallet
If you backed up a wallet to your iCloud in the past, you can recover it.
Fund your wallet with Robinhood Crypto
You can transfer crypto from a Robinhood Crypto account to fund your Robinhood Wallet. You'll have the option to transfer supported crypto over Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, or Base. You can see which crypto are supported in Robinhood Wallet when you fund it. You can also fund Robinhood wallet from another wallet or exchange.
Fees
Robinhood currently doesn't charge service fees on token swaps. Fees are subject to change. Network fees, or gas fees, are blockchain transaction processing fees. These required fees are submitted to the network along with your transaction. These fees fluctuate based on the volume of transactions, confirmation speed, and transaction size for that network. Network fees may apply for token approvals, transfers to an external wallet, and interacting with dapps. Robinhood Wallet doesn’t collect any part of the network fee.
