Robbie Fowler is not just one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of both Liverpool and the Premier League - he is also a very wise investor.
The 45-year-old, who scored 186 goals in 460 clubs fixtures between 1993 and 2012, called time on his playing career after spells in both Australia and Thailand.
His managerial career has taken him from Muangthong United to Brisbane Roar and now East Bengal, but it is his ventures away the pitch that have been particularly lucrative.
The former England forward has entered into several successful businesses, and is said to own more than 80 properties across the England, Scotland and Wales.
The numbers have been crunched by Spear's Wealth Management Survey, and they estimate that Fowler's total net worth is in the region of £31m as of February 2021.
Having teamed up with Steve McManaman to create The Macca and Growler Partnership, the pair invested in several racehorses before Fowler founded his own company.
Robbie Fowler Sports Promotions is said to be worth almost £2m, but it is property empire which has proved to be vastly successful.
His property empire is said to largely consist of terraced houses, and led to the creation of a ‘property academy’ back in 2013 which is said to teach the secrets of investment.
Back in football and not everything has gone to plan for the man Liverpool fans refer to as God, as he admitted in an interview early last year.
In a chat with the Mail, he said that he applied for four jobs in League One, but never received an interview but sometimes the ‘odd’ thank you.

Before adding of his quest to become a manager: “My reputation always went against me.
“I’m passionate about football and I wanted to go there to show how serious I am about management.
“I need to get rid of that stigma.”
