To compile our list of the wealthiest cities in Texas, we looked at data from 2021 and 2022 on local per capita income and poverty rates. We also considered the median home price in each city between January and November 2022. Cities in this list were included if they had at least 5,000 residents. That means that smaller communities like Piney Point Village, which has an average home price of over $3 million, were excluded as they had a population below 5,000.
