Ready to be an ‘IDOL’? Big Hit Music announces global auditions for aspiring K-pop stars (2024)

Korean entertainment label Big Hit Music announced that it will be holding global auditions to expand its growing roster of artists. However, the auditions are only open to male trainees born after 2002.
While onsite auditions will be held in Los Angeles, Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul, applicants of any nationality can apply on Big Hit Audition’s website.
Online applicants are required to send videos of themselves singing any song of their choice, dancing with their faces and bodies visible, original compositions, other materials that “show your potential” as a singer, and frontal photos.
Application period for online auditions will run from June 6 to September 18.
