Pakistan increases the sales tax to 25% from 17% on products that it classifies as luxury items, The News reports, citing a notification from the Federal Board of Revenue.
- List includes: Cars of engine size 1400cc or more, imported cars in built up form, juices, chocolates, cat and dog food, jams, leather jackets, mattress and sleeping bags, sunglasses, tomato ketchup and sauces, traveling bags and suitcases, jewelry and watches
