However, wax is a rather fragile protection that requires regular maintenance. If you want a high level of protection against stains and stains for your furniture, wooden furniture varnishes may be suitable for you.
Good to know :Oil is also a non-film-forming finish for wooden furniture. We do not recommend it because of its difficulty of application. In fact, it must be applied very carefully so as not to obtain a greasy and sticky effect.
FILM-FORMING FINISHES FOR WOODEN FURNITURE
Film-forming finishes for wooden furniture create a film on the surface of the wood. The furniture is then highly resistant to stagnant water and stains.
VARNISH FINISH FOR ENHANCED PROTECTION
Varnishes are protective products for wooden furniture that offer enhanced protection against standing water, moisture, stains or blows. We recommend waxing especially for decorative purposes, to embellish a wooden piece of furniture while providing it with a certain degree of protection. For high protection (in damp rooms such as kitchens or bathrooms), we recommend that you choose a varnish.

The paint finish for a matt finish
