Wow - better than anticipated, the performance is only 30 lbs more than the equivalent sport touring (mt). And the new engine hasn't increased the front end weight that much, 60 lb.

So about what we have been speculating. Neat.

Z's also require premium gas. This is not an economy car!

Ugh, why is it over 200lbs heavier than the Supra 3.0? Come on Nissan
2023 Performance AT - 3602lbs
2022 Supra 3.0 - 3400lbs
Comparing apples to apples, I assume when the '23 Supra 3.0 MT comes out it will be lighter than the AT.

with the way i drive, i will probably end up with 8mpg
Agreed fuel mileage is least of my concerns. Tank size will be interesting though, not sure we know that or have seen that.

So Jalopnik is putting the most negative click-grabbing spin it could come up with on the weight - the Z "weighs almost 200 pounds heavier than the 370Z". They made the rather stupid mistake of comparing the weight of a Performance MT to the 370Z Sport MT rather than the Sport Touring which would be the more appropriate match.

Will probably be the same as the 370Z: 19 gal.

Glad to see the extra hundred lbs was at least put on 50/50. Was expecting it all to be up front.
Hmm, kinda looks like the majority was put on front. I'm not liking that weight distribution, ugh!
