Ace your next finance interview!I interviewed 100s of peopleAnd if you need a CV, here is a free template that already help many professionals get the job they wanted:https://lnkd.in/etKjH2JgHere is the best way for candidates to be successful:1. Do your research:Understand the job and the company well. Know their challenges and the industry trends. This will help you tailor your responses and show that you are well-prepared.2. Plan ahead:Think about potential questions related to the job and plan your answers.Use the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method to structure your answers.3. Turn your answers into mini-presentations:Where possible, visualize your responses. This could be as simple as writting down your thoughts on a piece of paper and discussing them.Or even better: prepare slides for each key discussion point.4. Be interactive:Encourage dialogue during the interview.Asking questions and seeking clarification not only shows your interest but also turns the interview into a two-way conversation.5. Stay calm and composed:Interviews can be stressful.Practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques to stay calm during the interview.Personal note: breathing before an interview is really helpful to bring back your calm, trust me I even do that before the trainings I give ;)👉 Do you have any other tip to share?-------🤖 Learn ChatGPT and use it to become more productiveAnd secure your future against the rise of AI!Take my ChatGPT for Finance Video Course• 2.5 hours of on demand videos• 92 Pages of PDF• 450+ prompts• Practical exercises• 10 Prompt Engineering Methods for Finance• Taken by more than 1,000 people and rated 5 starsGrab your offer here:https://lnkd.in/dhXV9tPC

Your value propositions are where your competitive power flourishes (or not). Getting that right is paramount. Most companies do an 'adequate' job of crafting these value propositions. But more precise aiming, is better.

AI and the Job InterviewAs you prepare for an interview, you can use Bard or ChatGPT to help you get questions that might be asked in the interview. I gave Bard a job description and a list of my key competencies and asked it what interview questions I might get based on my competencies and the job requirements. I also mentioned that I had a degree in international finance. For this little experiment, I’d randomly selected seven competencies from a long list of competencies. For each competency Bard prepared three or four interview questions. For example, one of the competencies was Delegation. It came back with these questions:Delegation1.How do you delegate tasks effectively?2.How do you empower your team members to make decisions and take ownership of their work?3.How do you ensure that delegated tasks are completed on time and to a high standard? Then near the bottom it took my degree in international finance and asked these questions:1.How has your experience in international finance prepared you for this Customer Service Manager role?2.How would you handle customer service issues involving customers from different cultures?3.What are some of the ways that you can use your international finance knowledge to improve customer service? Finally, it listed nine additional questions derived from the job description. Practicing answers to all the questions Bard came up with, would help me to prepare for such a job interview. It and ChatGPT are tools you might find useful in this context.#Interview, #InTransition, #employment #jobhunting, #peakinterview"Noun-handshake-3720225" by Vectorstall is licensed underCC BY-SA 4.0.

With important interviews coming up, I'm practicing my answers to difficult questions using a new AI tool called interviewsby.ai. It's amazing.I paste the job description and it responds with killer questions. I record my answers. It gives legit feedback and then suggests a better response. My only issue is that I only get two minutes to answer questions like, "How would you approach creating a culture of learning and development within <x company>? What strategies or initiatives would you implement?" Sheesh - that could be a dissertation.

𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐈-𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫Job interviews can be nerve-wracking. You have to anticipate questions, practice answers, and try to get inside the mind of your interviewer. It takes a lot of time and effort to properly prepare. But what if you had an AI assistant to help you get interview-ready?This isn't science fiction, it's the reality of job hunting in the digital age. ChatGPT can help you simulate a job interview, ask you typical questions, and even provide feedback on your responses. It's like having a recruiter in your pocket, ready to help you prepare anytime, anywhere. Let's dive into how you can leverage this tool to nail your next interview. Here's a prompt you can use:"ChatGPT, act as a hiring manager and conduct a mock interview for a [insert job role here]. Ask me 5-6 typical questions for this role, wait for my responses, and then provide feedback on my answers."𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐢𝐩: You can also copy in your CV details and the advertised job description to give the ChatBot more info and to get more realistic results.Since a hiring manager will ask different questions from what an HR recruiter would ask, you can also ask ChatGPT to act as the person who will conduct the interview. This will produce even more specific questions. Remember: The more info you feed the bot, the more realistic the questions will be.After you respond, ChatGPT can provide feedback on your answers, helping you refine your responses and identify areas for improvement.I highly recommend using ChatGPT to practice before any big interviews. It can help you anticipate questions, improve your answers, and reduce stress. Give it a try for your next interview and let me know in the comments if you have any other creative ways to use AI for interview prep. I'm curious to hear your experiences!Image created with Midjourney. Prompt: "Imagine a job interview with an AI bot, bright colors, friendly, realistic"
