We all have those days when our money goals seem insurmountable. We are standing at the bottom of Mount Everest, wondering how we will ever possibly get to the top. I’ve been struggling with that a lot lately as I look at my financial independence countdown. I want the end result so badly, but five years seems like a long time! So, for all the others out there who feel like it just can’t be done, I wanted to share my top ten favorite quotes for money motivation! If we power through the tough days, we’ll reach our financial summit!

This quote is one of my favorites for when I’m having a tough day being an odd duck. Having financial goals, and chasing them, isn’t normal in our society. Debt is viewed as a way of life. Working until 65 is considered a necessity. But just because it isn’t normal, just because other people make excuses instead of putting in the work, doesn’t mean it can’t be done. And they’ll be jealous when you do it!

You can’t have a money motivation quote round up without Dave Ramsey. How many families has this man helped get out of debt? His quote here is one of his best. I wanted nothing more Sunday night than to curl up and read a book before bed. But instead, I wrote a blog post. Becuase what I wantmost is to chase my passions. Know your priorities!

When an unexpected expense comes up now, we are far more likely to think of it in terms of how much longer I will have to work to pay it off than we were before.
