GTA 5 Story Mode Glitches

Franklin, Trevor, and Michael don't always have the necessary funds to purchase property, new cars, or make investments, so these Money Glitches can come in really handy when the money is tight.

Armored Car Exploit

A user had reported that if an armored car can be taken byMichaelwithout firing a shot, and if subsequently the police are quickly evaded, it may be possible to create an endless cash loop. Park the armored car in yourgarageand save the game. Then blow the doors off, leaving the car in thegarage. Loot the car, then return later. The car will still be there, repaired, and restocked with cash.

Investing in Stocks

To make a quick return, save your game and then shut off autosave. Invest all of your money into a stock that you think is on the rise. Go to your safehouse, rest without saving (or wait roughly 45 seconds), and check your portfolio to see your profit. Keep checking the stock until it peaks out and then sell. The more money you invest, the better the return, and if the stock does poorly, just load up your previous save and you will have all the money you invested without any repercussions.

Invest in eCola: In a video by Dib Games, the recommended stock to invest in is eCola. Using this glitch, purchase stocks in eCola, save your game and shut off autosave. Go to the pier and shoot the Sprunk vending machines. Let the vending machines respawn and shoot them again. Go back to Michael's house and rest 3 or 4 times. After resting, check the stock market and see the profits.

In addition to eCola, invest in other stocks like auto insurance or life insurance. You can affect the stocks by literally destroying the competition or destroying the company that you've invested in. If you invest in auto insurance, then take out some cars. If you invest in life insurance...you can guess what you have to do. If you invest in Merryweather, you can go to their port warehouse and destroy everything in sight. Whichever stock you choose, just remember to turn autosave off, and rest in your home a few times and wait for the stocks to go up.

Money Briefcase in the Ocean

In the same video by Dib Games, there is a glitch that allows you to pick a $25,000 briefcase over and over again. Head west to the ocean and park out by the pier. Swim northwest of the pier and south of the country club. Quicksave in the middle of the ocean then dive. You will find an underwater tanker with a briefcase. Grab the briefcase, swim back up, and quicksave again. Then load the quicksave again and dive back down. You should find the briefcase again.

Get Quick Money Early in the Game

When you first start off in GTA 5 Story Mode, you don't have a lot of money available to you. Here is a glitch to help you get a little bit of money fast.

Ammu-Nation Robbery: In a video by THE SOLDIER, there is a way to rob the same Ammu-Nation over and over again. Head to the Ammu-Nation in La Mesa and shoot the owner. Use your gun to bash open the cash registers and collect the money. Leave the shop, cross the street, and head back in. The registers will have respawned and you will be able to take money from them again.

It's important to note that you will not collect a lot of money using this method, but it's quick money to get you started.

GTA Online Glitches

In addition to story mode glitches, there are also a few GTA Online glitches that can make you some fast money. Some of these glitches can be done solo, while others will require an associate to help you. Fortunately, these glitches are fairly easy to initiate and complete.

Glitching and Most Wanted

According to a video by SuperXee, there is a way to earn some money without doing anything. For this glitch, you will want to find an associate to help you out and also CEO status. This one is fairly easy and requires very little effort to be successful. You will want to locate the tug boat in a port to the south of Los Santos. Enter the place where it is stored and jump onto the deck. Go to the left of the boat and jump, you will glitch inside the boat. Call up your CEO server and select the Most Wanted Challenge. Start it when you're ready. Being in the tug boat protects you from the police who are searching for you. If you survive for 10 minutes, you will earn between $42,000 and $50,000.

Glitching and Executive Search

In a video by LaazrGaming, there is a way to complete the Executive Search challenge by glitching into hiding spaces. Much like the Most Wanted challenge, when you initiate Executive Search, there are specific places you can hide in that will protect you from the other players who are trying to find you. You may want to have a ray gun handy for some of these locations since you will be shooting the floor and launching yourself to these glitched areas.
