What is the meaning of stock on order in MMBE? ›

Stock on-order is likely to mean the stock that is on order - i.e. you already orderd but it still it hasn't been dipatched from your vendor. Compare this stock with all open PO qty (ME2M + selection parameter WE101 / or MD04).

You can View Sales Order Stock using MB52 with Special stock Indicator E and with MMBE and also try in CO09.

If you want to check for stock of a material at a particular storage location use tcode MMBE. Parameters to be provided are, material, plant, storage location. If you want you can include whether to include special stocks for e.g. E - for orders on hand. You can also select display unit of measure.

Once you perform goods receipt for that particular material, it will be out of on-order stock. To remove this, search for the relevant Purchase Order first and then subsequently deleting the line item. You can do this by going to ME2M --> Enter Material Code + Selection Parameter: WE101..

A sales order stock is assigned exclusively to a particular sales order and sales order item and cannot be used for other sales orders or sales order items.

For example, if you wanted to buy a stock at $10, you could enter a limit order for this amount. This means that you would not pay one cent over $10 for that particular stock. However, it is still possible that you could buy it for less than the $10 per share specified in the order.

You need to use Movement type 412 with Special Stock Indicator "E" for moving Transfer posting sales order to own - reversal. This will move your stock Unrestricted use to Sales Stock.
