Does Mexico have a trusted traveler program? ›

Programa Viajero Confiable is a Mexican trusted traveler program which allows members to pass securely through customs and immigration controls in reduced time, using automated kiosks at participating airports.

Yes. You can use your Global Entry card through SENTRI or NEXUS lanes to expedite entry into the United States after traveling from Mexico or Canada. However, you can't use your Global Entry card to travel through NEXUS lanes when traveling to Canada.

If you take less than four international trips a year, TSA PreCheck is a great choice for domestic travelers. If you have Global Entry, it also automatically includes TSA PreCheck membership. Both memberships last for five years before needing to reapply. However, when approved individually for TSA PreCheck, it does not include approval for Global Entry.
