Let’s all Pray through Romans 12 and 13 this week – Christ Community Church (1)Let’s all pray through Romans 12 and 13 this week.

Romans 12 and 13 are challenging Scriptures to obey. We cannot be obedient to the Scriptures without the Lord’s help. God has commanded us to be a people who are set apart by our love. We need God’s help. So, we are going to ask Him to help us with the very things He has commanded. God says to bring our supplications before Him (Philippians 4:6). A supplication is a list. Below is a list to pray through.

God has told us to present our bodies as a living, holy sacrifice, so we are going to say, “Help us Father be holy.”

God has told us to love our enemies, so we are going to say, “Help us Father to love our enemies.”

Praying the Scripture is very biblical and effective. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth (Psalm 145:18 18). God’s Word does not return to Him void, but brings forth fruit (Isaiah 55:11).

1 John 5:14 – 15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”

Let’s each pray each day and trust God is faithful to His Word.
