LEGO lovers rejoice: Brick Convention announces dates for 'ultimate' Louisville event (2024)

The "ultimate event for LEGO lovers" is coming to downtown Louisville this summer.

The LEGO Brick Convention will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center at 221 S. 4th St. from July 15 to July 16, according to the event webpage, in a showcase of the popular toy brand.

The Brick Convention is an event where professional LEGO artists gather to display their "amazing LEGO creations and to meet with fans," event spokesperson Greyson Riley Beights said in a release. The showcase will also include LEGO celeb meet-and-greets, including the cast from LEGO Masters, a game show where teams compete to complete challenges for a cash prize.

LEGO fans will have the opportunity to "get creative in the Construction Zone," with thousands of bricks. They can also engage with live builds or check out the life-size LEGO creations on display at the convention's galleries, the release said.

Other attractions include a Star Wars Zone with creations from the movie universe, a castle build zone where fans can work on a medieval-style LEGO build and plenty of opportunities to get at some LEGO merch, according to Beights.

The convention will support Creations for Charity, a nonprofit that gifts LEGOS to "underprivileged children around the world during the holidays," Beights said.

How do I get tickets for the LEGO Brick Convention?

Tickets for the Brick Convention are $14.99 and available for July 15 and 16, available to purchase on the event's website. Tickets will be $18 at the door.

Tickets are exclusively available for the date and time chosen at booking.

Early booking is suggested as tickets are expected to sell out quickly, the group said.
