What is LBRY Credits (LBC)?
LBRY Credits describes itself as a protocol (not a platform) that people can build dApps on. These dApps are then meant to be able to interact with the content on the digital library of the LBRY network.For example, dApps can let creators upload their own content to LBRY. With LBRY, the creator is the one who isin control of their own content, instead of a third-party body. That means the creator gets to set the price per download or stream for their content or they can choose to offer it for free.The specific LBRY dApp, developed by the company behind LBRY Credits, LBRY Inc., is being built to make users' interaction with the LBRY protocol easier. The LBRY dApp is open-source and can be used as a template for those wishing to create their own version of the dApp.All content that is uploaded to LBRY becomes available on any and all LBRY dApps.LBRY is looking to replace things like YouTube, iTunes, Steam, really any centralized body of content storage.
