She's had a whirlwind few months, with a disastrous SNL performance, smash hit album and fashion following making hers one of the most turbulent music careers in recent memory.

But while the music world doesn't quite appear to have made up its mind about Lana Del Rey, it appears the fashion industry has welcomed her with open arms.

The star took her front row at the Mulberry London Fashion Week show today next to Michelle Williams and Elizabeth Olsen.

The 25-year-old Born To Die singer held her bespoke Mulberry Del Ray bag in White Ostrich on her lap as she watched the catwalk in the Ballroom at Claridge's Hotel.

Carried with pride: Lana looked thrilled as she clutched at her custom accessory

Lana looked excited for the show, and was casual but stylish in jeans, a white sports jacket, blouse and nude ballet pumps.

She added a splash of colour with scarlet nails, and looked slightly nervous but at home alongside her fellow US stars.

Michelle looked lovely in a sky blue dress with a dark jacket, showing off long slender legs accentuated with black studded heels.

The real attraction? A lot of people would be more interested in these three than the catwalk itself

Comparing notes? Michelle Williams appeared to be offering some thoughts on the fashion to her fellow guests

Meanwhile 22-year-old Miss Olsen- whose older sisters are of course veterans of the catwalk front row- looked pretty in a white blouse with a bow tie and the neck and dark drainpipe jeans.

Downton beauties Laura Carmichael and Michelle Dockery sat alongside the US ladies, as did War Horse star Tom Hiddleston.

Olivia Palermo looked gorgeous in black trousers, a grey t-shirt with black stars and blue heels, completing her look with an orange coat.

Pixie Lott and boyfriend Oliver Cheshire showed up, the singer wearing an eye-catching blue pleather top decorated with bows and a flowing sky blue skirt, teamed with a tan handbag.

Peaches Geldof was also present, sporting peach platform heels and a black overcoat covering a flowery blouse.

The event must have had a particular resonance for Lana however, since it signaled the debut outing of the official Mulberry Del Rey bag.

Casting their gaze: Ronnie Newhouse, Jonathan Newhouse, Anna Wintour, Bill Nighy, and Hilary Alexander all looked deep in concentration

The Mulberry official Twitter account posted earlier today: 'We are super excited to announce our latest bag, the Del Rey, inspired by US songstress@LanaDelRey #TheDelRey'

The label is clearly very fond of the singer, who is tipped to perform at tonight's dinner.

Lana is winning plaudits as a blossoming style icon, having graced the cover of British Vogue this month.

Success: Azealia Banks and Michelle Williams both looked as though they had enjoyed the show

Editor Alexandra Shulman said of the cover girl in her editor's letter: 'I am many of the thousands of people enraptured by the throaty, seductive voice of Lana Del Rey,'

'Once I had seen Lana play at a small event in London, I was convinced that she would be a great Vogue cover girl, even though she is probably one of the newest stars in her field that the magazine has ever had on the cover.'

MULBERRY: BRIT LABEL TAKES A TRIP INTO A FANTASY WORLD WHERE FURRY CREATURES RULE THE RUNWAY

Enormous yetis loomed over the catwalk in Claridge's Ballroom this morning, while guests parked their bottoms on long benches covered in shaggy fur for what has fast become the hottest ticket in town.

Inspiration for the show was as unlikely as it gets in the fashion world: Maurice Sendak's furry critters in the brilliant children's book Where The Wild Things Are, as well as the highly acclaimed film that came later from Spike Jonze.

Still, Creative Director Emma Hill made it work, of course. Somehow those loveable monsters translated into furry coats made from long-haired Mongolian goat, shaggy gilets cinched at the waist and furry long-haired skirts.

Furry chic: Yeti coats in brown and black were neatly cinched at the waist with narrow belts; right, texture was key, as leather with a subtle sheen was contrasted with long-haired goat fur and fine knits

As for the colour palette, think sepia hues of creme caramel. Those rich tones of chocolate, oak and sycamore, camel and espresso were shot through with vivid bursts of tangerine and burnt orange.

Texture was the buzzword of the day, with Mongolian goat, sheepskin and rabbit fur (PETA will not be amused) contrasting with silky cashmere, fine knits and lacquered viscose - a fabric with a light sheen reminiscent of leather that provided a foil for the very voluminous or the super shaggy.

This is Mulberry, so bags are key. Here, as well as seeing the Del Rey make its debut (in ink blue sparkle crocodile print and soft black leather), we saw the Alexa with an AW12 facelift: embellished with zig zag bead designs, or worked over in soft haircalf. The Lily and the Maisie completed the roll call of arm candy.

The real star of the show though was the grey Hungarian Puli, who walked the catwalk in his own little coat made by Mulberry: A luxurious sheepskin-trimmed padded parka jacket. He was the best dressed dog in W1 this morning, bar none.

Autumnal: A creme caramel palette made for a rich, warm feel, while furry gilets in Mongolian fur added volume and texture. Right, those marbled knits again, with a sycamore double twill coat, and lacquered viscose skirt

Fur was a constant theme throughout the show, surfacing in the form of hooded jackets, gilets and dresses

Warm tones: Fur bombers, sheepskin jackets and marbled chunky knits provided texture, while lace, cashmere trousers and fine yarn sweaters added luxury. Right, an almost painterly effect on a dress
