By the end of the show, which ran for five seasons, the family was left with Caerula Mar Club, a luxurious beach resort perfect for any family or romantic getaway. As of July 2023, they still own the club, according to the website.
Six-weeks after the Caerula Mar Club opened, Sarah and Bryan Baeumler had to shut down the resort due to the restrictions to help control the COVID-19 pandemic.
The big question now—after so many ups and downs—is whether or not Renovation Island ever got back on its feet. And, much to the delight of HGTV viewers, it did! While Bryan and Sarah closed the resort in March 2020 due to the pandemic, they were able to reopen later that year in October.
The show, which starred Bryan, Sarah and their four children, provided viewers a glimpse into the construction of the Baeumlers' three homes: Bryan's dream house, his country cottage and his “forever home.”
While Bryan told Cityline back in April the house in Wellington, Fla, where they currently reside would be a “temporary home” for the family, the Baeumler family is believed to still be living there at this time. "It just made sense for us logistically right now," Bryan shared.
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are still together and have never thought of separating. What they go through is pretty common among couples and is not reason enough for divorce.
