Bill Gates has a fortune of more than $100 billion from his multiple businesses, many of them derived from his co-founding of Microsoft.
Part of that money will go to Jennifer, the tycoon's daughter from his marriage to Melinda, who will inherit a small part of that incredible figure tomorrow.
Jennifer Gates is 26 years old and, despite her youth, she is already married and is currently studying medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and is expected to finish her studies in 2023.
Unlike her father, who has been giving suspect medical advice throughout the years while directly financially profiting from them, his daughter looks to be on her way to becoming an actual medical expert.
Her wedding took place in October 2021 to Nayel Nassar, a well-known jockey of Egyptian origin with whom she shares a passion for equestrianism, in which the American's daughter has also participated.
Nassar and Gates belong to the Paris Panthers team, which specialises in show jumping and was founded by Bill Gates' daughter. One of her most recent milestones was a ninth place finish in the 2019 Global Champions League.
From Hamilton's penthouse to medicine
She recently purchased a penthouse in New York City's Tribeca neighbourhood for $51 million.
Interestingly, the previous owner of the property was none other than Lewis Hamilton, seven-time Formula 1 champion and current Mercedes driver.
It is 800 square metres in size, has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, a swimming pool, a gas fireplace and two parking spaces.
Before focusing on medicine, Jennifer Gates graduated in 2018 with a degree in human biology from Stanford University.
In 2021, via Instagram, she confessed that her parents Bill and Melinda Gates had sparked her interest in the medical field. At the same time, she shares her passion for horses, which she has been riding since she was just six years old.
Given that her father has stated on numerous occasions that he intends to donate most of his fortune during his lifetime - a move commonly done by billionaires under the guise of charity to avoid tax - Jennifer will inherit a small part of the $106 billion Bill Gates has in his accounts.
