In the past I had worked on a lot called Myshuno Medows, a park that is in San Myshuno. Now the problem with this lot is that no one EVER comes here. When I took at the type of venue it is, it is labeled General. So I figure since it is also called in smaller letters Center Park, I would change it from General to Park. But for some reason it won't let me, saying something about it being a special lot. I have a strong feeling that if I can change it to a park, there will be more sims visiting this lovely place. Is there a cheat that will allow me to unlock this lot to change it to a park?

I was wondering why no one but my Sim ever seemed to go there that makes sense if it was set to General. I'm guessing they made that decision because it's basically set up to be a wedding venue and it's to keep random Sims from wandering in during the event. Of course when you want to change it to be a normal park it causes problems because no one will come when it's set to general. I really do hope they go back to allowing us to change venue types on the special lots. It just makes things so much easier.

I've had that before where a lot goes to Generic and won't let you change it even in Build Mode.
I think I solved it by buying it for a Retail lot then just immediately selling it. That resets the lot.

A while back I had a sim put in a perfect garden there, and I love using it for my future sims so they don't have to deal with the hassle and time consuming that it takes to care for it. It looks like though with this next pack coming out, I will be adding some new items to the garden.

I change the type lots simply with [i]bb.enablefreebuild[/i] on the cheat bar. Even when Sims are living there. I love having homes with a park and/or pool that many other sims can visit.
