Most merchants outside the U.S. only accept chip-enabled credit cards. To request a card with chip technology, call the number on the back of your business credit card.

Important notes about chip-enabled cards

  • Some overseas merchants may require a PIN for chip card transactions, so be ready to use it on your trip. This PIN may also be used at an ATM. If you have misplaced your PIN, call the number on the back of your card before you depart. Store your PIN in a safe and secure location, separate from your business credit card.
  • An international customer service phone number is on the back of your business credit card. Store this number separately in case your business credit card is lost or stolen so it can be reported right away.
