Washington, D.C.

If you are a resident of Washington D.C., you may cancel your subscription by clicking on the link in your emailed renewal notice. You may also follow the following steps to cancel your subscription.

Here are some other notes about canceling your Wall Street Journal subscription – no matter where you live.

If you cancel your monthly subscription, you will receive online access or delivery for the remainder of the current billing period. You will not receive a prorated refund.

If you are canceling a quarterly (three-month) subscription, you will receive online access or delivery for the remainder of your current billing period. But, again, you will not receive a prorated refund.

However, if you have a six-month subscription, your member benefits will end immediately. You will receive a prorated refund for the rest of your unused subscription. Please note that if you cancel within the final 30 days of your six-month subscription, you will continue to receive your subscription benefits until the end of the billing cycle, but you will not receive a prorated refund.

If you cancel within the final 30 days of your six-month subscription, the cancellation will not take effect until the end of your current billing period. You will not receive a refund; however, your subscription access and/or delivery and accompanying subscriber benefits will continue for the remainder of the current billing period.

Finally, if you have an annual subscription and wish to cancel within the first 11 months of your subscription, your benefits will end immediately, and you will receive a prorated refund. This is not the case if you wait until the final 30 days of your year-long subscription.
