    SGB purchased with HDFC net banking will not show in your bank account. As you have received your certificate, that is your copy of SGB. In case you have demat account, you can transfer this certificate to your demat account and can see SGB performance in your portfolio. You can buy or sell SGB in the open market once they are in Demat format.

    I have purchased the SGB via HDFC net banking application today 9th Aug 2021. I got net banking reference number for the application. I can see my amount is on hold in my net banking account. Few questions:
    1. When I will get SGB certificate issued and on which date amount will be debited?

    A: SGB Issue date is 17th Aug 2021 for the current offer, so approx same day or one day in advance. So 16th or 17th.
