If you work as a sales representative in the timeshare industry in Mexico, then you have the potential to make an excellent income, even by international standards. Add to this the fact that living costs are lower in Mexico than in the United States and in Canada, and you are looking at a very luxurious lifestyle, living your life in a beautiful beach destination.
Performance Driven Employment
While your earning potential is high as a timeshare sales rep, one thing that you have to remember is that, like most performance-driven jobs, your earnings will be paid in commission and bonuses. It is therefore important when you are starting out in this profession that you have savings to support yourself until you get your first commissions. It is generally recommended that anyone who is going to work as a timeshare sales rep should have several months of savings before you start this job.
The Sky's the Limit with Wages
If you are outgoing, inspiring, self-confident and positive with a professional attitude to go along with a well-groomed appearance, then you are sure to make outstanding wages. The annual income for a timeshare sales rep is generally between $70,000 USD and$120,000 USD. A new timeshare sales rep is expected to make around 2-3sales per ten clients that they come in contact with, which means at least 2-3sales each week.
Can You Sell One Timeshare Each Week?
A good timeshare sales rep can do up to three sales for every ten clients, and if you have experience, then you should be able to have three or more sales for each ten clients that you encounter. If you are selling less than one for every ten clients, then this isn’t good for yourself, nor the company you are working for. Remember, a timeshare sales rep makes their money through commissions, so no sales no wages.
Experience is Key
If you have experience in sales, then you are more likely to start making money quickly. Training is provided, so if you have experience already, you will find you will need less time for training and can start making sales as soon as possible.
