Very rarely do we ever get a mid-year update on Corvette sales totals by dealers, but this one dropped into our lap late last night!

The list shows sales by the Top 10 Corvette dealers along with the number of vehicles sold between January 1st and May 31st. The big news from this update is that MacMulkin Chevrolet has a two-car lead over the perennial sales leader Ciocca (Kerbeck) through the first five months of the year.

For the most part, this update is tracking similarly to 2021’s list of the Top 100 Corvette Sales by Dealer with the MacMulkin and Ciocca leading all others by a comfortable margin while Criswell Chevrolet and Mike Furman take the third position on the list. Bomnin’s West Kendall store has moved up to number 8 while Coughlin Chevrolet in Ohio (Rick Conti) slips to the 9th position. Rounding out the Top 10 is Van Chevrolet from Scottsdale, AZ which (we believe) is the only dealer in the Top 10 that doesn’t sell customer-ordered Corvettes at MSRP.

It’s easy to think that the C8 Corvettes have sold themselves over the last few years with dealers simply acting as order takers. However, there is a lot of work behind the scenes in managing customers and their orders while also dealing with constraints, supply chain issues, and other factors that can easily derail a sale. These volume dealers are the ones committed to working with Corvette enthusiasts and it’s a major factor why we are so supportive of ordering Corvettes from these dealerships.
