What is a good product to choose? I’m here to help answer your questions. Well the best way I know how at least.
Disclaimer, I am not here professing to be a savant or some guru that has that has learned all that needs to be shared on this topic. I am merely someone who is learning just like you more than likely, and I’m passing along some of the information I’ve come across that might be useful to someone else. Now coming across the wormhole that we know as YouTube, I’ve passed through a lot of sales people and talking Heads when it comes to the subject of affiliate marketing. And quite frankly some of them are very good at their jobs. Some are believable, some are not, but one thing they all have in common is they all have a product to sell. And all choose different ways to sell, the key is how well do you relate to the people you’re talking to. Like with anything in life, if I don’t understand you or if I feel like you’re trying to get over on me, I’m less likely to believe what you’re trying to say. There are some sketchy tactics some people use, and we’ve all been spammed before by someone trying to sell something. And in the age of the internet as a part of everyday life, It is just so much more easier to reach people and get interest in a product if you present it the right way.
Looking for a niche
One of the main things and most important things with all business is picking a topic, an audience, a demographic, however you want to put it, and centering your business around that one thing. That might sound a lot easier than it actually is. In fact, most people probably fail miserably at just this one step, because usually the mass majority of the wolrd isn’t interested in the same things you are. And that’s no offense, you are a one of one, but in a world with over 600 billion people, you got to find a way to catch a large group of fish with a smaller net, which is difficult. We all can’t be Walmart and sell both video games and raw meat and get everyone to come. It doesn’t work like that. So choosing a niche and getting people to come to that niche, is the most important step that you have to take in order to get started with affiliate marketing. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have several niches, but I would advise you to put each nice in it’s own specific place. Don’t put your lingerie next to the Dragon Ball Z action figures, unless you’re going to be selling Dragon Ball Z lingerie, and I’m not sure if that’s a thing yet(But it sounds like it should be.)
How do I know what a good Niche is?
Picking a good niche can be as difficult as picking a good movie on Netflix. All of that endless scrolling, watching trailers, only just to get stuck watching reruns of “The Office” that you seen a dozen times. Now “The Office” is trustworthy and it is “Ol’ faithful” on Netflix, so with that analogy, take that into consideration with your business. What do people like?? What’s a proven product?? Hmm, think about it. Have you come to the answer yet? Don’t worry if you haven’t, I’ll tell you. The three most common, overused, and repeated categories that you will hear literally every business person on YouTube, the blogosphere, or anywhere you look say is “health,wealth and relationships.” Or affectionately referred to in the affiliate marketing world as “the big three”.
And the reason for that is simple, everyone likes to eat, or has to eat rather. Which means everyone gains weight, and most people are looking for ways to lose that weight that they have gained over the years. So the health genre has has become very popular probably since the Stone Age. There’s always been programs like “Weight Watchers”, “Slim-Fast” “Yoga, goat yoga, hot yoga” (Too many yogas.) But in a digital age the health niche has become probably like no other, and if you need proof, you can look no further than your Instagram. That “model” or really that hot girl that doesn’t really model, but takes nice pictures. She’s been making money selling “Flat tummy teas” and different workout programs for The Last 5 Years. Now you might not have took it seriously, and laughed to yourself, as you secretly pressed the like button and scrolled, but she’s used her leverage on social media to sell that product. And now she hasn’t worked a day since she’s left High School. How do you think she’s paying for these boat pics? Affiliate marketing plays a big hand. And the wealth niche, that’s easy to explain as well. One word, “Money”, everyone’s looking for money, everyone needs money in some fashion. And if you’re affiliate marketing, you are also searching for money. So why not make money by teaching people ways to make money? It’s the circle of life and it’s a circle that people will always search for.
And last but not least relationships. Human beings have been trying to figure out other human beings since the beginning of time. It’s the only way we can survive as a species, by you know, hooking up! And as long as we need that, there is going to be no shortage of people looking for ways to hook up better or just trying to understand the opposite sex. It’s literally a million dollar industry of people trying to figure out ways to talk to each other so they could get together and have families, or maybe just a one night stand. Whichever is your cup of tea. Oprah has made many people millionaires by just having them talk about relationships, and you can also be like that without having to do none of the talking. Just refer people to a source that they can use and boom! You’re a relationship Guru.
Where do I find these winning products??
Now it’s time to get to the good part, where do you actually find these “Winning products” and how. There are a lot of different places and businesses that incorporate affiliate marketing. From big brands like Amazon and Best Buy, to smaller places like e-commerce sites Etsy and eBay. But the bigger Brands don’t give you much of a commission off of sales usually anywhere from 1 to 10%. So the best advice I can give you is to go to one of these digital marketplaces that specialize in selling affiliate items. The best and probably most well-known of these is “ClickBank.” If you don’t know what ClickBank is, it’s like a digital shopping center for affiliate programs. Everyday people like you and me are able to upload their own products and sell everything from cookbooks and tutorials to online video games and surveys. There are literally thousands of products that you can choose from, in different categories, including the big three. But how do I know which one is the right one to sell you may ask. Easy, ClickBank makes it simple to choose which product is popular and which product is selling, and if they have some high ticket products thst have anywhere from $100 to $500 Commission.
What do I do next?
Honestly finding a good place to post your favorite links is probably the hardest part of the whole thing, even I have struggled with this as many people have. Sure you could go to Facebook message a bunch of family and friends, get blocked by people, you know, the whole 9. But that doesn’t guarantee you a sale. What I would recommend doing is signing up for one of the many courses that people offer on affiliate marketing. There they teach you how to sell, what to sell, and how to affiliate Market the right way. Some people even have templates and scripts ready to go, or they have websites available for you to use. It’s 2020, starting a business and growing a business is highly easy these days. it’s probably the most accessible we’ve ever been to the average man being able to make 1 million dollars. it’s no longer an infeasible thing, it’s obtainable. All you have to do is put forth the effort and do it. Do your research and you will find a way. The important thing is to not get discouraged, a lot of people quit too soon.
Like every business, it is a process and it’s not always overnight. In fact, it takes a lot of time and energy to get started and to find a successful program. Rome wasn’t built in a night and neither was Microsoft or Apple. But what can be said is that making this decision can change your whole life forever. And not just yours, but your family’s lives for generations to come. You might not get rich overnight, but you can get rich for a lifetime, or at least make some supplemental income to help offset your bills, and everything else you have to pay for in life. Some people can’t see the forest for the trees, and I understand, we all need money when we need it. And trust me, I know that it can be hard. And I always wondered what if I had an extra source of income, a way that was passively making me money without me having to physically have another job. It can put you in a position where you never have to ask again, or you never have to need again, or at least make it where money is the least of your worries.
What is best is to find a way to put yourself in a position where you never have to be in need of money again.
