How Many Days in Greece: For most tourists, I recommend a visit of 10 to 15 days. This allows for a few days in Athens; a day trip to Nafplio, Delphi, or the Meteora; and a few nights on 2 or 3 Greek islands. Of course, trips of more or fewer days are possible.

One week in Greece is probably enough time to explore one or two islands, visit Athens, and maybe do a day trip from Athens. Or you could visit Athens and a few other parts of mainland Greece, and maybe add in one island.

3-4 days is a timeframe where you can really stretch those legs and relax. And you won't have to rush in order to get the most out of the experience. It's also the perfect length of time to discover one of Greece's most famous islands. A great option is a three-day tour of Santorini.

Greece is BIG! The groups of islands are very spread out and there are clusters or groups of islands that each offer a different experience. And while a 14 day itinerary is a generous length of time, you certainly can't see it all. Better to pick a few destinations and get the best out of those islands right?

3 weeks is absolutely not too long in the Greek islands. Every island has its own character, his own feel and his own "looks". Note also that travelling between islands can be timeconsuming.
