I found the TV show this term probably relates to. See the YouTube links. It's an entertainment show about a race driver competition where they have to find the way out of a maze as fast as possible, escaping pursuing vehicles underway. In my opinion, they use the title Getaway Driver for a dramatic effect, so I would use the equivalent PT term, i.e. what a real getaway driver would be called in relation to a robbery in PT. A translation that simply referred to mechanical aspects such as speed or acceleration would ruin the dramatic effect of the title in my view.
