The minimum pupillage award for the period 1 January to 31 December 2024 is:
- £23,078 for 12-month pupillages in London
- £21,060 for 12-month pupillages outside London.
Despite this increase, you may be worried about supporting yourself during pupillage. The Inns of Court can offer financial support in certain circ*mstances, and there are also other sources of funding that you may want to consider.

The Inns all offer different awards to pupils, but the following types are available.

- The Kalisher Scholarship Trust, which covers the vocational component course fees for two aspiring barristers each year and provides a variety of smaller bursaries and awards including an annual £3,000 essay prize.
