In our continued efforts to keep the store shelves stocked, we have simplified our production to best meet the current consumer demand. As a result, we have temporarily paused the production of some items.

Supply and demand are again to blame for the nearly 50% increase since 2020. Consumers snatched up comfort foods during the pandemic — no matter the price — causing shortages and reinforcing manufacturers' ability to charge higher prices. Meanwhile, the country is growing fewer potatoes.

However, they have been discontinued, leaving many consumers like me disappointed. Ranch flavored Fritos were not just chips; they were an integral part of our meals and gatherings. Their distinct flavor profile added depth to dishes and provided a satisfying crunch that is hard to replicate with other snacks.
