In partnership with local public, private, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) -and taking into consideration U.S. foreign policy interests, the level of available resources, and the role of other donors - USAID/Peru has established a strategy to support Peru on its journey to self-reliance. Within the parameters of this strategy, USAID's assistance is delivered through a variety of agencies, including U.S. private businesses, U.S. and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), host government agencies, and public international organizations. The selection of specific contractors and grantees is generally done via competitive processes. Contracting actions are initiated through requests for proposals (RFPs), and grants and cooperative agreements are initiated through requests for applications (RFAs), or annual program statements (APS). Requests for proposals are posted at: www.sam.gov and requests for applications are posted at: www.grants.gov

While USAID is required to make most awards based on open competitive processes, USAID/Peru may consider funding unsolicited proposals for unique and innovative initiatives, when appropriate. You can find additional information on unsolicited proposals or applications here: https://www.usaid.gov/partner-with-us/unsolicited-proposals-grant-applications.
