Frequently Asked
Questions

WHAT KIND OF OIL IS IT?

Both Drip and Non-Drip are new oil products, specially formulated with rust inhibitors, made specifically for automotive rust proofing.WHICH PRODUCT IS BETTER?

Both products are very comparable, No Drip is preferred by the customers that cannot tolerate the excess dripping and their vehicles are newer or extremely clean (i.e. bottom of vehicle is relatively rust and dirt free). Drip oil is the product of choice when it comes to most vehicles, if you can tolerate a little mess than it is the one to go with.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DRIP AND NO DRIP?

Drip oil is thinner and penetrates those seams and crevices fast. It will penetrate through built up dirt and flaky rust. No Drip is thicker and is applied a little differently than Drip Oil. No Drip is more of a fog or film of thick oil that is applied; too much will drip and will not dry or adhere to the metal properly. A thin film is all that is required to give the metal the protection it needs.

CAN A VEHICLE BE SPRAYED WHEN WET?

It can but remember the drier the better. Oil floats on water, we want the product to adhere properly, therefore a dry day is a good day!

AFTER A RAINFALL, HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE MY VEHICLE CAN BE SPRAYED?

Generally if the roads are dry than the vehicle will be dry enough to spray.

WHY ARE HOLES BEING DRILLED?

In most vehicles there is no access to inner areas of Rocker Panels, Doors and Rear Quarter Panels (except for salt and moisture). The only way to apply product to these areas to ensure protection is to gain access by drilling holes, which are plugged afterwards with a professional automotive plug.
