How Do I Log into Zacks.com?

Click on the "Login" link located near the top of almost all pages, just to the right of the quote window.

A small, light green window will appear. Enter your username and password.

  • Clicking on the "Remember Me" box will allow you stay logged in everytime you visit the site.
  • If you forgot your password, visit this page.
  • If not currently a member, register

How Do I Log out of Zacks.com

Click on the "Logout" link located near the top of almost all pages, just to the right of the quote window.

A new page will appear confirming that you have logged out.

How Do I Subscribe to or Unsubscribe from a Zacks Email?

Subscriptions to Zacks email products can be managed easily. Simply go to the subscription management page at www.zacks.com/my-account/alert-preferences/ and enter in your email address. A new page will appear that allows you to subscribe to or unsubscribe from email alerts and newsletters.

Why do I receive blank Zacks.com Daily Portfolio e-mail updates?

This is a rare phenomenon effecting about 1-2% of the people who receive our daily portfolio e-mail updates. If this is happening to you, then forward one of your blank e-mails to customer support (support@zacks.com) with any other details of what is happening.

How Do I Modify A Previous Buy?

  • View your portfolio (see instructions above)
  • Click on "Modify Previous Buys" from the left-hand menu
  • Change the information for a specific stock and then select update from the drop-down menu located on the right-hand side
  • Click on the "Submit" button located near the bottom of the page

How Do I Add A Stock?

  • View your portfolio (see instructions above)
  • Click on "Modify Portfolio Contents" from the left-hand menu
  • Enter the information for each ticker
  • Click on the "Submit" button located near the bottom of the page
  • Note: Only five stocks can be added at a time. To add more than five, enter the first five, click "Submit" and repeat the steps

How Do I Delete A Stock?

  • View your portfolio (see instructions above)
  • Click on "Modify Portfolio Contents" from the left-hand menu
  • Scroll down to the section labeled "Sell Shares"
  • Enter the number of shares to be deleted, plus any additional information
  • In the drop-down menu located at the right, select "Sell Shares" or "Delete Ticker"
  • Click on the "Submit" button located near the bottom of the page

When I Add a Stock to My Portfolio, Why Does It Sometimes Not Appear in My Portfolio?

The Zacks portfolio tracker displays data for approximately 10,000 stocks. Although this list encompasses most stocks, some of the stocks with the smallest market capitalizations are excluded. We are working with on solution to allow all stocks that are publicly traded on U.S. exchanges to be tracked by our portfolio system.

  • Go to the My Account page.
  • Login with current username and password
  • Click on "Update Contact Info" from the menu located on the left-hand side.
  • Enter new username and/or password.
  • Click on the "Update Account" button.

How to Change Your Credit Card Information

  • Go to https://www.zacks.com/my-account
  • Login with current username and password
  • Click on update billing Info from the menu located on the left-hand side
  • Enter new credit card information
  • Click on the "Update Account" button

What is Zacks Equity Research?

What Is the Difference Between an Analyst Report and a Snapshot Report?

Zacks Equity Research provides two type of reports: Analyst and Snapshot.

Analyst Reports contain the analyst recommendations as well as their in-depth written description on the company. These reports can range from 5 to 20 pages on the individual stock. Or simply, as many pages as necessary to impart to you why to buy, hold or sell the stock. Again, these reports are available for the 1150 stocks covered by our analyst team.

Snapshot Reports contain the quantitative recommendations and a quick overview of the key fundamental drivers behind the recommendation. This is contained in a 1 page document for approximately 3250 stocks not covered by the analyst.

How Often Is The Data In The Custom Screener Updated?

Price-related information, the Zacks Rank*, earnings estimates, average broker recommendations, and insider trading data is updated daily (after the market close). All other data is updated weekly (by Monday at 4:30 am).

*Only Zacks Premium subscribers can screen by the Zacks Rank. The indicator is not available in the free version of the custom screener.

How Often Are The Model Portfolios Updated? (e.g. All Star Analyst & Brokerage Firm Buy List Portfolios)

Each of the model portfolios is updated every Monday after the markets close. And the price added is the closing price for that day. Note that the Brokerage Firm Buy List has very little turnover and may go a few weeks without any additions or deletions.
