Check that there's nothing in the port of your phone, like dust or lint.
Try charging your phone with another cable or power adaptor.
Troubleshoot yourbattery charge
Plug in your phone with a working cable, charger and wall socket, then wait one minute.
If you see abattery icon, your phoneis powered off and is charging. You can restart right away.
If you see a red light, your battery is fully discharged. If the red light is flashing, there isn't enough power to turn on. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
If you don't see a battery icon or red light after you plug in your phone, the issue could be with your screen.
Disconnect the cable from your phone, then reconnect it within 10 seconds. If you see a battery icon within one minute, your phone is powered off and charging. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes. Press and hold the Power button until your phone restarts.
How to Fix a Dead Phone Battery. Try cleaning your phone's charging port or using a new charger to make sure they aren't causing the issue. If you can remove the battery, try jumpstarting it with a 9V battery or freezing it to revive it. If that doesn't work, have the battery replaced at a service center.
It's possible you could also have a damaged charger. Try another cable or power bank, if you have them. You might also want to try another wall outlet or power strip, just to be sure. Check the charging port on the phone itself, too—lint or dirt can easily get caught in there and prevent the pins from making contact.
Connect to a power source: Ensure that you're using a working charger and cable, and try connecting your phone to a power source other than the one you've been using. Sometimes, the issue may lie with the charger or cable, so switching them out can help identify the problem.
Sometimes, a phone that won't turn on just needs to be charged. Try a different charger and cable. If you're using a third-party charger or cable, try using the original charger that came with your phone. Force restart your phone.
Use a Portable Power Bank. One of the most popular solutions is a portable power bank. These charging banks are easy to carry and can generate enough power to charge your phone quickly when you do not have access to a charging port or the charger itself.
Press and hold your Android device's Power button and the Volume Down key for at least 5 seconds or until the screen shuts down. Release the buttons once you see the screen lighting up again. Instead of the usual welcome screen, a black screen will appear showing a list of text options.
You can plug your phone into your laptop for a quick charge or find alternate USB ports that can do the job. Most USB ports found in airports and some coffee shops provide enough power to charge a standard smartphone. Also, some hotels have USB ports built into lamps and bedside tables.
When unsure about battery problems, restart your phone! Hold the power button for about 30 seconds until your device restarts. If needed, tap "Restart" on the screen. This can clear background processes and give your battery a fresh start.
Try a different charger and cable. If you're using a third-party charger or cable, try using the original charger that came with your phone. Force restart your phone. To do this, hold down the power button and the volume down button at the same time for about 10 seconds.
You may have installed incompatible apps. The phone may have been overcharging for a long period of time. There are app caches that need to be cleared. The phone has been exposed to extreme heat (such as leaving it in a hot car).
