One key role of the Bank of England is keep inflation around 2%. Inflation goes down when interest rates rise. Inflation is close to the 2% target so markets expect interest rates to drop (so the economy doesn't crash) and that means the cost of borrowing will become cheaper in the coming months according to forecasts. However we have an election in both the UK and USA this year which means a lot of businesses taking a 'wait and see' approach to new investment or growth. What we always tell our clients; if you wait for the perfect time to buy a house, you will never buy one. Secondly a house is more than that, it's your home for the decades to come and raise your family. https://lnkd.in/gXX_5ex4YOUR HOME OR OTHER PROPERTY CAN BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU FAIL TO KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER LOAN SECURED AGAINST IT.

What a week we have had for new enquires!! 😃 We are especially pleased to have completed a £2.5m first charge purchase #mortgage for a #HNW client 🏤 🏢 Wealthy client with multiple businesses and significant assets but deliberately kept their income low. We were able to source a lender that could still fund £2.5m to complete the purchase 🏡 . If you are a seeking a large mortgage or bridging loan and have complex circ*mstances, we can help. 👊 https://lnkd.in/eZPWSxvX*Picture for illustration purposes only*#mortgages #specialistlending #selfemployedmortgage #complexincome #HNW #RegulatedYOUR HOME OR OTHER PROPERTY CAN BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU FAIL TO KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER LOAN SECURED AGAINST IT.

We have heard it before, but it would help so many of our clients if the house buying process was made simpler, quicker and more straightforward 🤞🤞🤞https://lnkd.in/epy4Jt5d

Wow!! What a house. Whilst we may all like a house like this, a very rough indication: the mortgage payments over 25 years would be £21,000 per month......😬😬😬https://lnkd.in/eRhiBbPH

Many older home owners would like to "right size" into a smaller more manageable property, freeing up much needed larger homes for families. The issue is not just that there isn't enough new appropriate properties for older home owners, but many are not in the right locations either where people want to remain (to be close to friends or family etc.)UK needs to build more appropriate homes for older borrowers, in more locations to truly unlock the larger homes still owned by empty heatershttps://lnkd.in/eKduSsBC#propertyinvestment #housingchallenges #HousingMarket #ukhouseprices #planningpermission YOUR HOME OR OTHER PROPERTY CAN BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU FAIL TO KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE OR ANY OTHER LOAN SECURED AGAINST IT.
