In Red Dead Redemption 2, the Fence is a merchant where you can sell Gold Bars, Stage Coaches, Jewelry, and other stolen items that other merchants won't purchase. The Fence can also craft Talismans and Trinkets from special items you'll find. We have put together a quick guide to show you all of the Fence locations in Red Dead 2, so you can sell all of your contraband items for some extra cash.

Note that you can also sell Cigarette Cards to the Fence, but be careful; it will let you sell your one and only copy.

Our guide will show you how to find five different Fence locations in Red Dead 2. Below you'll find a short description of each Fence as well as a map showing you how to get to the proper location.

Wagon Fence Location and Unlock Guide

In Chapter 2, complete Hosea's second mission, The Spines of America, to unlock the first Fence. This Fence can take in Stage Coaches and other Wagons for cash. This Fence is located at Emerald Ranch in The Heartland.

Horse Fence Location and Unlock Guide

In Chapter 3, complete the Horse Flesh for Dinner mission to unlock this Fence who can give you cash for stolen horses. This Fence north of Clemens Point.

Other Fence Locations

These fences, like the above two, can purchase stolen goods, create Talismans and Trinkets, but can't process horses or wagons.

There is a Fence located in Saint Denis on the east side of town.
