Rent Relief
Unfortunately, as of March 31, 2023, Texas Rent Relief and many of the local rent assistance programs have stopped accepting applications. If you have a pending Texas Rent Relief application or local rent assistance application, you may call Texas Rent Relief at 833-9TX-RENT (833-989-7368) or the local program to which you applied for status updates about your application.
Some local rent assistance programs may still have funds available. Reach out to any local rent assistance programs in your area. Visit Find rental assistance programs in your area for contact information for local rent assistance programs.

In recent weeks, legal aid organizations across Texas have experienced greatly increased case volume, and you may experience delays in response time. For help representing yourself in your eviction case, legal information on the eviction process can be found below:
