- Siblings Enrique, Erramon and Sabin are the fourth generation members of the Aboitiz clan, the family behind the sprawling Aboitiz Equity Ventures (AEV).
- Enrique serves as the chairman of AEV; Erramon passed on his president and CEO title to Sabin in 2020 but remains as the second largest individual shareholder.
- The company was founded by Paulino Aboitiz, son of a Spanish farmer who migrated to the Philippines in the late 1800s.
